316 Stainless Steel Tubing Parts
316 Stainless Steel Tubing Expertly Made Right Here in Australia
If you're restocking on car parts such as the 316 stainless steel tubing, especially if you're in a hurry, you might look for the most affordable, easy option, which is often importing those parts cheaply. However, past a certain threshold, those low prices can be a red flag. How can you verify the quality of the manufacturer? How secure is their shipping? How quickly will your order arrive? The last thing you need as an auto parts seller is to place a massive order for mufflers with an overseas business that never arrives; accountability is much harder to act on in those cases.
With ECS Exhaust (leading car exhaust parts online supplier), those concerns are gone. We're your one-stop for any enquiries and purchases related to exhaust parts. As specialists, we understand our product better than any competitors, and we can provide the finest quality customizations and advice to our customers. We're a family business, so our customer feedback is precious and affects our decisions and stock. Plus, any parts we don't make ourselves come from quality Australian suppliers. Lastly, we ship nearly all of our orders the same day, so you're in the right place if you need parts fast. Read More
316 Stainless Steel and Its Properties
Often, different alloys come with different pros and cons. Mild steel is cheap, accessible, and flexible, but it can corrode rather easily and will need to be replaced much sooner than other metals. Aluminium is cost-effective to produce but can dent easily and is not always readily available. For customers who want the most durability possible out of your standard car part materials, 316 stainless steel is the answer.
This grade of stainless steel is the second most popular after 304, and they're very similar. The difference comes in their concentrations of the element molybdenum. The higher molybdenum percentage in 316 gives it far more longevity and rust resistance than 304, and it's especially useful for drivers near the sea, as saline climates will corrode 304 extremely quickly. If you live near the ocean (and that's not so unlikely here in Australia), your best bet might be some sturdy 316 stainless steel tubing.
